<files>
The <files> element configures files that customize the BrainHoney user interface. Each entry refers to a file that has been uploaded to the domain's Content folder.

To define a customized frame component, specify your own, custom type value with the corresponding path to the frame's VHTML file. You then use that type value in frame-component URLs. (See User Interface Customization for more details about defining custom frames.)

files / filetype Identifies the file type
Possible Values:
  • adminhome - Page to display for the AdminHome component. This entry overrides the standard AdminHome component. You typically specify the path to a VHTML file. (See Components for more details.)
  • authorhome - Page to display for the AuthorHome component. This entry overrides the standard AuthorHome component. You typically specify the path to a VHTML file. (See Components for more details.)
  • courseplayer - Page to display when the user is viewing course content. This entry overrides the standard CoursePlayer component. You typically specify the path to a VHTML file. (See Components for more details.)
  • frame - Default frame for the application. You typically specify the path to a VHTML file. (See Customizing the User Interface for more details.)
  • home - Page to display when the user logs into the application. This entry overrides the standard Home component. (See Components for more details.)
  • login - Page to display when the session has expired, or when the end-user navigates to a bookmarked page that requires authentication.
  • nossoaccount - Page to display when an end-user logs in correctly using single sign-on (SSO) but has no account in BrainHoney.
  • objectives - XML file containing common objectives sets for the domain. See Common Domain Learning Objectives for more information. Note: currently, the path must be "web/lo.xml".
  • observerhome - Page to display for the ObserverHome component. This entry overrides the standard ObserverHome component. You typically specify the path to a VHTML file. (See Components for more details.)
  • studenthome - Page to display for the StudentHome component. This entry overrides the standard StudentHome component. You typically specify the path to a VHTML file. (See Components for more details.)
  • style - Stylesheet (.css file) to include on all pages, which can override existing styles. (See Overridable Styles for more details.)
  • teacherdashboard - Page to display for the TeacherDashboard component. This entry overrides the standard TeacherDashboard component. You typically specify the path to a VHTML file. (See Components for more details.)
  • teacherhome - Page to display for the TeacherHome component. This entry overrides the standard TeacherHome component. You typically specify the path to a VHTML file. (See Components for more details.)
  • welcome - Page to display when the end-user initially navigates to the application.

pathSpecifies the path in the domain content tree for the item. Do not specify a leading slash. For example, specify "web/lo.xml" when type equals "objectives".
